FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Lantto Elected to Forging Industry Association Board, Earns Distinction of “Youngest Female Director”

In addition to being the Director of Manufacturing at Trenton Forging Company, as of April 29, 2019 Chelsea Lantto now holds another position: an elected Director on the Forging Industry Association Board. The Board establishes committees, makes decisions in regard to the trade show Forge Fair and the FIA Magazine, approves and monitors major investments such as the Orders & Shipment survey and e-learning platform, and also serves as an oversight role for FIA’s supporting foundation FIERF. Directors meet in-person several times annually and also host teleconferences to conduct their business worldwide.

FIA President & CEO, James Warren, stated:

“The FIA has had several talented and hard-working female directors, but Lantto has the unique distinction of being the youngest female board director in the FIA’s 106-year history.”

She also serves as the ex officio member of the FIA Safety, Health, & Environment Committee. We are proud to have such a strong leader from Trenton Forging Company representing and shaping the industry in such a meaningful and impactful way.
